Bamford Earthmoving is a locally owned and operated earthmoving business servicing Central Otago with our depot in Cromwell. With over 50 years experience we can take on any job big or small.

Typical jobs include - Site Clearing, Tree Removal, Gravel Extraction, House Sites and are specialists in, Subdivisions, Contract Stripping and Mining.

Farms & Orchards
All digger & earthmoving work on the farm or vineyard include - farm drainage, irrigation ponds, culverts, vine clearance, tree removal
& cutting farm tracks. With our bottom end dumper we can upgrade your metal driveway from the road to your house.

Our fleet of bulldozers include:
Bulldozers ranging from a 8 tonne D4 up to a 78 tonne D10N. Our large bulldozers are fully compliant to mine regulations/specifications.

Our fleet of diggers ranges from 5 tonne right up to our largest 45 tonne machine.

Our trucks include tip truck/trailers, 6x4 water cart, tractor units with low loader, tipulator and bottom dumper.
We have twin powered open bowl motorscrapers with bails and hook for push pull operations.
Articulated dump trucks are also available ranging from 30-40 tonne pay load.

Our gear is available for dry hire or full hire with experienced operators. We have full laser gear available for all machines.
